Niamh Perry
Born in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Niamh Perry attended Our Lady and St. Patrick's College, Knock. She was a member of Mc Master’s Stage School and MT4Uth. Previous credits include Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Anita in West Side Story, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Charity in Sweet Charity. She participated in Cinemagic productions under the direction of Suranne Jones, including Wicked and A Slice of Saturday Night in which she gained lead roles in both productions.
Niamh passed her ABRSM Grade 8 classical singing exam and Dip LCM in Musical Theatre, both with Distiction and won the South Eastern Education and Library Board (SEELB) Outstanding Achievement Award for Contribution to the Arts.
Niamh took part in an NSPCC campaign, and has become ambassadors for ClickSargeant and the face of Cancer Research’s sunbed protection Sunsmart Campaign. She was als involved in the NSPCC Child Protection Helpline campaign.
She left school early while studying Music, Theatre Studies and Sociology for her A-Levels in early 2008 and moved to London to compete in BBC’s I'd Do Anything.
Niamh got to the final 12 girls competing for the coveted role of Nancy in the new West End production of Oliver! After weeks of praise from the judges Niamh left the competition coming 5th.
Since making her professional debut in the exciting new musical Only the Brave at the Edinburgh Festival playing the role of Belle, Niamh has been very busy performing in the Workshop for the new Phantom 2 musical “Love Never Dies”, singing on Friday Night is Music Night for Radio 2, performing at the Proms in the Park in Belfast and alongside fellow Nancy and Joseph's to celebrate Lord Lloyd Webber's 60th Birthday Concert in Hyde Park.
Niamh is currently working in the studio on some of her own material and will be starring in Eastbourne over the Christmas period as Snow White.
